- Maintain and provide day-to-day pricing to the sales team and/or directly to the customers.
- Send all Freight rate inquiries to designated Steam Ship Liners (SSL) / AIR & LCL Co-loaders.
- Receive and Maintain rate sheets every month as per the Service contract with SSL and strategically plan and participate in service contract negotiations.
- Share the Rate Sheet with the Sales team and Management.
- Follow-ups and timely feedback from the Sales team and customers to understand their needs on shipment.
- Ensure timely retrieval, quotation, negotiation, and filing of rates for internal and external customers and timely handling of bid/tender completion deadlines.
- Securing market rates through internal data or at times external carrier feedback.
- Manage invoicing related to air export shipments.
- Prepare and process Air Waybill (AWB) instructions accurately.
- Conduct timely follow-ups with customers and overseas agents regarding shipment updates and documentation.
- Maintain and update shipment details in the system.
- Prepare and share the Daily Status Report (DSR) with the reporting manager.
Skills & Competencies:
- Solid understanding of Air Export Pricing and Freight Forwarding operations.
- Excellent negotiation, coordination, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and documentation management.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under tight timelines.
