Job Summary: The website developer is responsible for designing, coding, and maintaining websites and web applications. This role involves both front-end and back-end development to ensure an optimal user experience, functionality, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain websites and web applications.
- Create visually appealing and responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Implement server-side logic and APIs using programming languages like Python, Ruby, PHP, or Node.js.
- Manage databases for data storage and retrieval.
- Ensure user authentication and authorization systems are robust.
- Perform testing and debugging to resolve issues.
- Implement security measures to protect websites and user data.
- Optimize website performance, including page loading times and mobile responsiveness.
- Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) for code management.
- Collaborate with designers, content creators, and stakeholders.
- Document technical processes and code changes
- Mandatory experience development in e-commerce websites.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Max 1 year or above experience in web development and a strong portfolio
- Solid problem-solving and debugging skills
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
