Job Title: Clinical Associate – Ophthalmology

Qualification
MBBS with MS/DNB in Ophthalmology or Diploma in Ophthalmology (DO/DOMS).
Valid State Medical Council Registration (Mandatory).
Experience
0–3 years of experience in Ophthalmology.
Freshers with MS/DNB/DO/DOMS are welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Examine, diagnose, and manage patients with ophthalmic conditions.
Assist consultants in OPD, inpatient care, emergency services, and operation theatre.
Perform comprehensive eye examinations, including visual acuity assessment, slit-lamp examination, and fundoscopy.
Manage pre-operative and post-operative ophthalmology patients.
Assist in ophthalmic surgeries such as cataract, glaucoma, retina, cornea, and oculoplasty procedures.
Attend ophthalmic emergencies and provide timely medical management.
Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
Counsel patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
Coordinate with nursing and allied healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care.
Participate in departmental academic activities, CMEs, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
Solid clinical knowledge of ophthalmic disorders and treatment protocols.
Ability to interpret ophthalmic investigations and diagnostic findings.
Positive communication and patient counselling skills.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
Robust clinical judgment and emergency management skills.
