Team Lead/Engineer/Senior Embedded Software Engineer

OVERALL SUMMARY

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will be leading or be part of a team that provides technology solutions in the domain of space – both launch vehicles and satellites. We are looking for someone who has a robust passion for technology.

The ideal candidate for this position will be a reliable and adept software development skilled in the area of Embedded Systems, who is eager to break down large, technical problems and solve them systematically.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for understanding product/project requirement specifications.
Design or work with design teams to Complete design - technical Architecture and high level design to ensure that the product meets performance, reliability, most importantly customer expectations
Test functionality
Expected to maintain and improve systems and development processes.
Manage the projects - quality and ensure timely delivery
Analyze business needs and implementation approaches, and deliver high-quality applications
Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on time




Deliver successfully on all aspects of the product life cycle

REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/computer science
4–8 years' of relevant experience in skilled software development experience

COMPETENCIES/TECHNICAL SKILL SET
Successfully carried out projects in embedded software for defense, aerospace, space domains, independently and as team member
Should be able to visualize at Systems level and drive for its realization
Good Programming and software development experience in C, C++
Familiar with Processor Architectures, Device programing, Device drivers
Experience with communication protocols like Async, CAN, I2C, SPI
Worked in Safety critical software development process and practices. Familiarity with MISRA, DO-178B standards
Configuration Management, Defect Tracking
Software Unit testing , structural testing , Requirements testing
Software Architecture and design documentation
GUI design
