Job Description:
Database Management:
Install, configure, and upgrade SQL Server databases.
Manage database objects (tables, views, stored procedures, etc.).
Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions.
Perform regular database maintenance tasks, such as index rebuilding and query optimization.
Ensure data integrity and consistency.
Backup and Recovery:
Design and implement robust backup and recovery strategies.
Monitor and maintain backups to ensure data can be restored in case of failure.
Security:
Implement and maintain database security policies and procedures.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and roles.
Monitor for and respond to security threats.
Skills:
Robust knowledge of SQL Server database architecture and administration.
Experience with database backup and recovery techniques.
Knowledge of database security principles and practices.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
