Job Summary

We are looking for an NS-3 Programmer to build and evaluate network simulation scenarios for research projects. The role involves implementing communication protocols, running simulations, and generating performance data to support research outcomes.

Key Skills Required
Valuable working knowledge of NS-3 network simulator
Solid C++ programming skills
Solid understanding of computer networking concepts (OSI/TCP-IP layers, routing, wireless networks, etc.)
Ability to implement and modify network protocols within NS-3
Analytical skills to interpret and present network performance data

Roles & Responsibilities
Develop network simulation scenarios in NS-3 based on research requirements
Implement and customise networking protocols using C++




Set up and run simulations to measure network performance (throughput, delay, packet loss, etc.)
Analyse simulation output and generate research-ready results
Prepare graphs, tables, and reports summarising performance metrics
Debug and optimise simulation code for accuracy and efficiency

Eligibility
B.Tech/B.E./M.Tech in Computer Science, IT, Electronics & Communication, or related field
Freshers with academic/project experience in NS-3 and networking are welcome to apply
Candidates with a published research paper (journal/conference) will be preferred
