Qualification: BE / B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical
About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic Procurement Engineer with hands-on experience in HT VCB, LT Panels, and Compact Substations (CSS). The role involves end-to-end procurement, vendor management, and ensuring timely availability of materials aligned with project and production requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Understand BOM and sales order requirements for accurate procurement planning
Execute material planning and purchasing based on project priorities
Develop and manage vendor network for electrical components
Handle vendor negotiations, cost optimization, and lead time reduction
Ensure timely availability of materials for production schedules
Maintain optimum stock levels and avoid shortages/excess
Manage urgent/critical procurement situations effectively
Handle rejected/faulty material returns and replacements
Coordinate with Sales, Design, Stores, and Production teams
Monitor order priority and delivery timelines
Required Skills:
Robust knowledge of HT/LT Panels, VCB, CSS systems
Positive understanding of electrical components (breakers, relays, CT/PT, busbars, cables, etc.)
Excellent negotiation & communication skills
Solid planning, follow-up, and problem-solving ability
Ability to manage pressure situations & urgent deliveries
Basic knowledge of ERP systems and MS Excel
Preferred:
Experience in Electrical Panel Manufacturing Industry
Existing vendor network in Gujarat
Exposure to costing & techno-commercial evaluation
