The Stainless Steel Scrap Yard Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily scrap yard operations, ensuring secure handling, sorting, storage, processing, and dispatch of stainless steel scrap materials. The role includes supervising workers, maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring quality standards, and meeting production and safety targets.

Principal Accountabilities*
Supervise daily scrap yard operations and workforce.
Ensure proper sorting, grading, and segregation of stainless steel scrap (e.g., SS 304, 316, 202).
Monitor loading, unloading, weighing, and dispatch of scrap materials.
Maintain accurate inventory and stock records.
Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company policies.
Conduct daily toolbox talks and enforce PPE usage.
Monitor equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and loaders, and report maintenance requirements.
Inspect incoming scrap for quality and contamination.
Prepare daily production, inventory, and dispatch reports.
Train and motivate yard personnel to improve productivity and efficiency.
