Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and dedicated Pharmacist to join our hospital team. The candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, maintaining pharmacy records, ensuring compliance with hospital policies, and providing medication-related guidance to patients and healthcare specialists.

Key Responsibilities
Dispense prescribed medications accurately as per doctor's orders.
Verify prescriptions for dosage, drug interactions, and contraindications.
Maintain proper inventory of medicines, consumables, and pharmacy supplies.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with vendors for procurement.
Ensure proper storage of medicines as per regulatory and manufacturer guidelines.
Maintain records of narcotic, high-alert, and controlled drugs.
Assist doctors and nursing staff with medication-related information.
Counsel patients regarding medication usage, dosage, and precautions.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, NABH standards, and statutory regulations.
Monitor expiry dates and arrange timely disposal of expired medicines.
Prepare pharmacy reports and maintain documentation.




Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

Required Qualifications
B.Pharm / D.Pharm from a recognized institution.
Valid Pharmacy Council Registration.
Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a hospital pharmacy preferred.
Freshers with relevant qualifications may also apply.

Required Skills
Knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs and medical terminology.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Basic computer knowledge and pharmacy software handling.
Ability to work in rotational shifts.
Team-oriented approach and professional conduct.

Preferred Candidate
Experience in hospital pharmacy settings.
Knowledge of NABH standards and documentation.
Candidates from Ahmedabad will be preferred.
