Job Description – Mother Teacher (Primary Section)

Position: Mother Teacher
Grades: PP1 to Grade V / Primary Section
Department: Academics
Reporting To: Principal / Academic Coordinator

Job Summary

We are seeking a caring, dedicated, and enthusiastic Mother Teacher to handle primary students and create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning workplace. The teacher will be responsible for the overall academic, emotional, and behavioural development of students while ensuring effective classroom management and student participation.

Key Responsibilities
Handle and manage the assigned class as a Mother Teacher.
Teach core subjects as per the curriculum and school guidelines.
Create a positive, child-friendly, and engaging classroom setting.
Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and classroom activities.
Monitor students’ academic progress, behaviour, and overall development.
Maintain classroom discipline and ensure student safety.
Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and teaching materials.
Maintain student attendance, records, portfolios, and progress reports.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance and concerns.




Support students in social, emotional, and moral development.
Participate in school activities, events, meetings, and training sessions.
Coordinate with subject teachers and school management for student development.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline (Education background preferred).
B.Ed. / D.El.Ed. preferred.
Experience in handling primary classes is an added advantage.

Basic computer knowledge.

Experience: 1–3 years preferred (Freshers may also apply).

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
