Job Summary

The Orthopedic Doctor specializes in diagnosing, treating, and preventing disorders of the musculoskeletal system, including bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, and muscles. The role involves both surgical and non-surgical management of injuries, degenerative diseases, and congenital conditions to restore patient mobility and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose musculoskeletal conditions through physical exams, imaging, and medical history

Develop and implement treatment plans (medication, therapy, surgery, or rehabilitation)

Perform orthopedic surgeries when required (e.g., fracture repair, joint replacement)

Provide post-operative and follow-up care

Collaborate with physical therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals

Educate patients on injury prevention, recovery, and lifestyle modifications

Maintain accurate medical records and documentation





Stay updated with advancements in orthopedic techniques and technology

Qualifications

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)

Completion of residency training in Orthopedics

Valid medical license to practice

Board certification or board eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery (preferred)
