Role Summary
The Senior Data Engineer is a hands-on technical contributor responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and high-quality, reusable datasets across Snowflake, AWS, and GCP . This role is part of the Corporate Functions team (Finance and Master Data domains – Customer, Vendor, Material) and operates in a complex enterprise environment integrating 70+ ERP systems (SAP ECC, Atlas, JDE, Baan, etc.). This position requires strong hands-on skills, with growing ownership under the direction of Tech Leads and Architects.





Key Responsibilities
Data Engineering & Pipeline Development
- Build and maintain scalable data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
- Develop advanced and optimised SQL transformations (daily usage expected).
- Use Python for data processing, automation, and pipeline logic.
- Work across Snowflake, AWS, and GCP platforms.
- Integrate and standardise data from multiple ERP systems.
- Optimise queries and transformations for performance and cost efficiency.

Data Modelling & Dataset Design
- Support implementation of logical and physical data models.
- Build structured, reusable, and analytics-ready datasets.
- Contribute to master data (Customer, Vendor, Material) and finance reporting layers.
- Apply sound modelling principles to ensure scalability and performance.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise data product standards.
- Hands-on modelling capability is expected.
