Job Description SAP RAP Developer (SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud)

Role: SAP RAP Developer

Project: SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Product Development (AIM/EHS)

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and enhance applications using ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
- Develop and extend CDS Views, Business Objects, OData V4 Services, and Fiori Elements applications.
- Work on SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud extensibility using clean-core principles.
- Develop new features and resolve defects for AIM/EHS applications.
- Ensure compliance with ATC checks, RAP contract validations, ABAP Unit tests, and quality gates.
- Support integration with SAP standard services, workflows, and authorization concepts.
- Contribute to solution design discussions, code reviews, and technical documentation.
- Support IAM (Identity & Access Management) activities including roles, catalogs, spaces, and pages.
- Support Best Practice Content (BPC) activities, test scenarios, and documentation.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, QA, and Scrum teams in an Agile environment.
- Support QA activities, including test execution, defect analysis,



regression testing, and quality improvements.
- Provide backup support for Scrum Master activities such as sprint ceremonies, backlog tracking, and coordination as needed.

Mandatory Skills

- Strong experience in ABAP Development.
- Hands-on experience with RAP (Managed/Unmanaged scenarios).
- Experience with SAP Fiori Elements and OData V4.
- Experience working on SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.
- Understanding of authorization concepts and business roles.
- Experience with Git-enabled development and Agile delivery.
