Role & responsibilities

- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Social Studies lessons covering History, Geography, Civics, and Economics as per the curriculum.
- Create a positive and interactive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
- Develop lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and learning resources aligned with academic standards.
- Assess, evaluate, and monitor students' academic progress through tests, assignments, projects, and classroom activities.
- Use creative teaching methodologies, technology, and real-world examples to enhance learning outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student performance.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate academic progress to parents during PTMs and other interactions.
- Identify students requiring additional academic support and implement remedial strategies.
- Organize and participate in educational activities such as field trips, exhibitions, quizzes, debates, and school events.
- Foster awareness of social,



cultural, historical, and geographical concepts among students.
- Ensure effective classroom management and adherence to school policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with colleagues, coordinators, and school leadership to improve teaching practices and student outcomes.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, workshops, and professional development programs.
- Promote values such as citizenship, responsibility, cultural awareness, and respect for diversity

Preferred candidate profile

- Strong subject knowledge in History, Geography, Civics, and Economics.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and digital teaching tools.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to engage students through interactive and activity-based learning methods.
