About the Role

looking for an experienced and result-oriented Regional Last Mile Delivery (LMD) Head to lead end-to-end Last Mile Delivery, Transport, and Logistics Operations across the Ahmedabad region. The role will be responsible for driving operational excellence, rider manpower planning, transportation efficiency, sourcing productivity, vendor management, cost optimization, customer experience, and regional business expansion.

Key Responsibilities

Regional Operations

- Lead end-to-end Last Mile Delivery (LMD), Transport, and Logistics Operations across the region.
- Drive operational excellence while ensuring high customer satisfaction and service quality.
- Ensure SLA adherence, on-time deliveries, route planning, fleet utilization, and operational efficiency.
- Lead new hub launches, regional expansion, and operational scale-up initiatives.
- Ensure SOP compliance, safety standards, statutory compliance, and audit readiness across all operations.

Rider & Manpower Management

- Build and maintain a strong rider pool to ensure uninterrupted manpower availability.
- Drive manpower planning and Crew Employee Executive (CEE) availability as per CP and roster requirements.
- Ensure timely rider onboarding, deployment, and workforce availability across all hubs.
- Drive rider retention initiatives and reduce rider attrition through effective engagement programs.
- Handle rider escalations, grievances, disciplinary issues, and employee relations effectively.
- Increase women workforce participation and support diversity initiatives.

Sourcing & Vendor Management





- Build and strengthen a robust rider hiring vendor network across the region.
- Identify, onboard, and develop new manpower vendors to support business growth.
- Monitor vendor performance through defined KPIs and ensure SLA compliance.
- Drive sourcing productivity through multiple hiring channels, including referrals, vendors, field sourcing, and local partnerships.
- Improve field sourcing team productivity through regular reviews, coaching, and performance management.
- Build a sustainable local talent pipeline through agencies, institutes, referral programs, and community engagement.

Logistics & Transportation

- Lead transport operations, fleet management, and logistics planning across the region.
- Manage Bike Cost Per Order (CPO), Mid-Mile Operations, and delivery cost optimization initiatives.
- Optimize transportation routes, fleet utilization, and rider productivity.
- Manage transport vendors, logistics partners, and third-party logistics (3PL) operations.

Team Leadership

- Lead, mentor, and develop Regional Operations teams including Area Managers, Hub Managers, Transport Managers, Sourcing Teams, and large field teams.
- Drive team productivity through performance reviews, coaching, and capability development.
- Build a high-performance culture with strong accountability and execution excellence.

Business & Performance Management

- Drive Bin-to-Ready-To-Ship (RTS) performance and overall operational efficiency.
- Monitor and improve KPIs including Delivery SLA, Rider Productivity, Fill Rate, Cost Per Order (CPO), Attrition,



Customer Experience, and Vendor Performance.
- Manage regional operational budgets and drive cost optimisation initiatives.
- Utilise MIS, dashboards, and analytics to support data-driven business decisions.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 8–12 years of experience in Last Mile Delivery, Quick Commerce, Logistics, Transport, Supply Chain, or E-commerce Operations.
- Proven experience in managing regional operations across multiple locations.
- Strong expertise in rider hiring, manpower planning, vendor management, and workforce optimisation.
- Experience in building large rider pools and developing strong hiring vendor networks.
- Hands-on experience in handling rider escalations, grievances, retention, and engagement initiatives.
- Solid understanding of transportation operations, fleet utilisation, route planning, and logistics management.
- Demonstrated success in leading large field teams and improving sourcing productivity.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience in driving business expansion, operational excellence, and cost optimization.
