Job Title: Medical Equipment Sales Executive Government Supplies

Job Summary

We are looking for a Medical Equipment Sales Executive with experience in government hospital supplies, tenders, and institutional sales. The candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities in government departments, medical colleges, district hospitals, public health institutions, and other government healthcare bodies for the supply of medical equipment. The role requires solid knowledge of tendering processes, hospital procurement, product presentations, and relationship management with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop business opportunities for medical equipment sales to government hospitals, medical colleges, healthcare institutions, and public sector bodies.
- Track and evaluate government tenders, GeM bids, rate contracts, and procurement opportunities related to medical devices and healthcare equipment.
- Coordinate end-to-end tender participation, including:

- Reviewing tender specifications
- Preparing technical and commercial documents
- Coordinating with OEMs, distributors, and internal teams
- Ensuring timely submission of bids

- Build and maintain relationships with:

- Government hospital procurement teams
- Biomedical departments
- Purchase officers
- Doctors and hospital administrators
- Tendering and health department officials

- Conduct product presentations and explain equipment specifications, features, and benefits to institutional buyers.
- Work closely with OEMs/manufacturers for pricing, technical compliance, brochures, authorization letters, and post-bid support.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, compliance sheets, comparison statements,



and other sales-related documents.
- Follow up on bid status, technical evaluations, demonstrations, negotiations, purchase orders, and payment collections.
- Coordinate installation, delivery, and after-sales support with service teams and principals where required.
- Maintain MIS of leads, tenders, submitted bids, order pipeline, and customer interactions.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and upcoming healthcare procurement projects.

Key Requirements

- Bachelors degree in any discipline; candidates with a background in life sciences, biomedical engineering, pharmacy, healthcare management, or business will be preferred.
- 3–7 years of experience in medical equipment / healthcare equipment sales, preferably in government institutional sales or tender-based business.
- Good understanding of:

- Government procurement processes
- GeM portal and e-tendering
- Technical and commercial bid documentation
- Institutional sales cycle in healthcare

- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to read tender documents, understand technical specifications, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, email drafting, and proposal preparation.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings, tender follow-ups, demonstrations, and site visits.

Candidates with prior experience in selling or handling tenders for products such as the following will be preferred:

- Patient monitors
- Ultrasound / imaging systems
- ICU / OT equipment
- Neonatal and critical care equipment
- Ventilators
- ECG / anesthesia / radiology-related equipment
