*Key Responsibilities**

- Develop, maintain, and enhance **COBOL** programs (Batch and Online).
- Create and support **JCL** for batch processing, job scheduling, and performance tuning.
- Design, query, and optimize databases using **DB2**.
- Work with **IMS DB** for database access, maintenance, and performance optimization.
- Support online transaction processing using **IMS DC**.
- Manage and maintain **VSAM** files (KSDS, ESDS, RRDS).
- Develop reports and perform data analysis using **Easytrieve / Easynthrive**.
- Provide **production and L2/L3 application support**, including incident, problem, and change handling.
- Use **ServiceNow** for:
- Incident management
- Problem management and RCA
- Change and release coordination
- Service request handling
- SLA tracking and compliance
- Follow **ITIL processes and best practices** to ensure service stability and continuous improvement.
- Participate in **root-cause analysis**, preventive actions, and performance optimization.
- Support batch cycles, month-end/year-end processing, and business-critical runs.
- Collaborate with onsite teams, business users, vendors, and external partners.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and KT materials.





**Required Technical Skills**

- Strong experience with **COBOL**
- Hands-on expertise in **JCL**
- Solid knowledge of **DB2**
- Experience with **IMS DB** and **IMS DC**
- Proficiency in **Easytrieve / Easynthrive**
- Strong understanding of **VSAM**
- Practical experience in **mainframe production support environments**

**IT Service Management Skills**

- Valuable understanding of **ITIL framework**
- Hands-on experience using **ServiceNow** for ITSM processes
- Experience working in **SLA-driven, 24x7 support environments**
- Strong exposure to **incident, problem, change, and release management**

**Good to Have**

- Experience in **supply chain, logistics, or enterprise systems**
- Experience working with **distributed and global teams**

**Experience Level**
