Position: Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager

Location: Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra

Department: Finance

Role Overview:

The AR Manager will be responsible for overseeing the accounts receivable function, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices, managing credit risk, and maintaining healthy cash flow. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end accounts receivable operations, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliation.
- Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payments and resolve discrepancies.
- Establish and enforce credit policies and manage credit limits for customers.
- Prepare aging reports and analyze overdue accounts to minimize bad debts.
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to address billing issues and payment delays.
- Drive initiatives to improve DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) and optimize working capital.
- Monitor bank guarantees, LC/SBLC, customer advances and statutory compliance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, GST norms,



and statutory requirements.
- Provide regular AR performance reports and cash flow forecasts to management.
- Support audits by providing accurate documentation and reconciliations.
- Implement process improvements and automation for AR efficiency.
- Handle dispute resolution with customers to ensure timely and accurate settlements.
- Maintain robust customer relationships to facilitate smooth collections and resolve issues proactively.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 8 - 10 years of experience in accounts receivable management, preferably in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and credit management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., D365) and MS Excel.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
