Job Role - Junior Automation Tester - PLAYWRIGHT

Job Responsibilities:

Role Summary:
We are looking for a Junior Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in automation testing using Selenium & Playwright.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain basic automation scripts using Selenium & Playwright.
• Support functional, regression, smoke,



UI, and end-to-end testing activities.
• Assist in test case creation, test data preparation, and scenario documentation.
• Analyze automation failures with support from senior automation engineers.
• Log defects and coordinate with developers/test leads for defect resolution.
• Follow automation framework guidelines, coding standards, and QA processes.

Required Skills:
• Basic hands-on knowledge of Selenium & Playwright automation.
• Basic understanding of Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or any automation scripting language.
• Understanding of web and mobile application testing.
• Good knowledge of manual testing concepts, test cases, defects, and regression testing.
• Good communication and team collaboration skills.

Valuable to Have:
• Basic API testing knowledge using Postman or similar tools.
• Exposure to Android/iOS testing, emulators, simulators, or real devices.
• Knowledge of Git or any test management tool.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts.
