The FP&A; Lead will be responsible for driving financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making. This role ensures accurate financial insights, variance analysis, and performance tracking to enable business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes across all business units.
- Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts and provide actionable insights on liquidity management.
- Build financial models to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
- Assess financial impact of various projects and large customer orders, including ROI and payback analysis.
- Work closely with business leaders to manage the profitability of different business segments, product lines, and manufacturers.
- Assess ROI of different spends (marketing, capex, operational investments) to ensure optimal resource allocation.
- Drive cost initiatives across departments to improve efficiency and reduce overheads without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to monitor inventory levels, optimize working capital,
and assess financial impact of inventory management decisions.
- Perform variance analysis and provide actionable insights to management.
- Partner with business leaders to align financial plans with operational goals.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for leadership and stakeholders.
- Monitor KPIs and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Drive automation and process improvements in FP&A; workflows.
- Support CFO in board presentations, investor reporting, and strategic reviews.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and corporate governance standards.
- Manage and mentor the FP&A; team to build capabilities and ensure high performance.
Required Qualifications:
- CA / MBA in Finance or equivalent.
- 812 years of experience in FP&A;, preferably in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., D365) and advanced Excel.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Team management skills
