Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in building, deploying, and supporting cloud-native data platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Databricks, Python, Spark, SQL, and AWS, with proven experience in developing production-grade batch and streaming data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using modern ETL/ELT approaches.
- Develop and operate cloud-native data platforms on AWS (Azure exposure is an advantage).
- Build data solutions using Databricks, PostgreSQL, Aurora, and distributed processing frameworks.
- Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, production-ready, and cost-effective.
- Optimize data pipeline performance, reliability, and data quality.
- Develop and support both batch and streaming data pipelines.
- Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, AI engineers, and platform teams.
- Participate in technical design discussions and architecture decisions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement performance improvements.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.
