Production Management

Independently handle complete factory production activities.

Plan and achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.

Monitor manpower utilization, machine efficiency, and production output.

Improve manufacturing processes to increase productivity and reduce production costs.

Ensure timely production and dispatch as per customer commitments.

Quality Control & Quality Assurance

Ensure products are manufactured as per BIS Standards, IS Specifications, and company quality requirements.

Develop and maintain Quality Assurance systems and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Conduct incoming, in-process, and final product inspections.

Investigate product failures and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Maintain inspection reports, calibration records, quality documents, and traceability records.

BIS & Government Compliance

Independently handle BIS audits, Government inspections, Factory audits, and Third-Party inspections.

Ensure compliance with all applicable BIS standards and statutory regulations.

Prepare and maintain all technical documentation required for audits and certifications.

Coordinate with Government Authorities, BIS Officials, Testing Laboratories, and Certification Bodies.

Technical Responsibilities

Provide technical guidance to production and quality teams.

Handle technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis.





Lead implementation of process improvements and new manufacturing techniques.

Support product development and technical modifications.

Factory Operations

Supervise complete shop floor operations.

Monitor preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment.

Ensure workplace safety, housekeeping, and statutory compliance.

Control production losses, rejection, and material wastage.

Inventory & Planning

Coordinate with Purchase and Stores for raw material planning.

Monitor inventory levels to avoid production interruptions.

Support vendor quality evaluation and technical approvals.

Team Management

Lead production operators, supervisors, and technicians.

Train employees on production processes, quality standards, and safety practices.

Maintain discipline and improve team performance.

Reporting

Prepare Daily Production Reports (DPR), Quality Reports, Rejection Reports, Machine Utilization Reports, and MIS Reports.

Present production performance, quality status, and improvement plans to management.

Required Skills

Solid knowledge of Manufacturing Processes.

Excellent understanding of Quality Control & Quality Assurance.

Hands-on experience with BIS Standards, Government Audits, Factory Compliance, and Technical Documentation.

Good knowledge of Root Cause Analysis, CAPA, Lean Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement.
