Phab is a nutritionist-founded protein snack brand on a mission to make high-protein eating effortless and delicious for everyday Indians. We're building the next generation of protein-forward snacks from bars and wafers to RTDs and beyond — and we're growing fast across quick commerce, Amazon, and D2C.

The Role

We're looking for an R&D; Associate who wants to get their hands dirty (literally) building new products from scratch. You'll work closely with our Head of R&D; on formulation, benchmarking, trials, and getting current SKUs from idea to shelf. If you geek out over ingredient labels, have opinions about texture and taste, and want to build products that actually fly off shelves — this is for you.

What You'll Do

- Drive formulation and development of new protein snack products across categories (bars, wafers, RTDs, and more)
- Conduct competitive benchmarking — tasting, deconstructing, and improving on what's out there
- Manage lab trials, plant trials, and iteration cycles with manufacturers
- Work cross-functionally with marketing and ops on briefs, timelines, and launch readiness




- Maintain documentation — formulation records, spec sheets, trial logs, FSSAI compliance inputs
- Stay on top of ingredient trends, supplier developments, and innovations in the protein/nutrition space

What We're Looking For

- B.Sc. or B.Tech in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, or a related discipline — from a Tier 1 or Tier 1.5 institution
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in NPD within an FMCG / food & beverage company
- Genuine curiosity about the protein and health snack space — you follow the category, you have POVs
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation habits and the ability to manage multiple trials simultaneously
- A self-starter who doesn't wait to be told what to do next
- Bonus Points

- You cook. Seriously — a good palate and kitchen instincts are a real advantage here
- Experience with nutritional labelling or FSSAI compliance

Prior exposure to co-manufacturer or contract manufacturing environments
