Job Title: Engineering Lead

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Lead with a strong technology background to lead and strengthen our engineering function.

The candidate should possess hands-on full-stack development experience with .NET, strong leadership capabilities, and deep domain expertise in financial services.

This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, technical leadership, operational management, and team management to support the organization's growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the engineering team while also contributing individually when required.
- Work closely with the CTO on technology strategy and key business decisions.
- Drive stabilization and continuous improvement of the technology department.
- Oversee day-to-day engineering and technology operations.
- Manage end-to-end Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Ensure effective application support and production stability.
- Manage infrastructure and ensure system availability and performance.
- Build, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
- Drive strategic initiatives and contribute to organizational growth.




- Collaborate with business and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver technology solutions.
- Manage budgets and P&L; responsibilities.

Required Experience and Skills

- 15+ years of overall experience in software engineering and technology leadership.
- Robust hands-on experience in Full Stack Development with .NET (mandatory).
- Experience in application support and infrastructure management.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience working in financial services domains such as:
- Hedge Funds
- Private Equity
- Asset Management
- Fund Accounting
- Trade Reconciliation

- Experience managing teams while also acting as an individual contributor.
- Strong strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to handle day-to-day technology operations and drive process improvements.
- Experience in department stabilization and scaling engineering functions.
- P&L; management experience is mandatory.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership

Skills:

Preferred Profile

Candidates with experience in financial services organizations and a proven track record of driving technology transformation and contributing to business growth will be preferred.
