Job Description:

1. Reliability Engineering New Product Development

a. Define and deploy reliability requirements, reliability targets, and validation plans for new products and systems.

b. Translate customer usage conditions into operational profiles, duty cycles, and stress environments.

c. Participate in concept and design reviews to ensure design robustness and operational availability.

2. Failure Analysis & Risk Assessment

a. Perform and facilitate DFMEA / PFMEA, risk assessments, and failure mode identification at system and component levels.

b. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) of prototype, test, and field failures and drive corrective and preventive actions.

c. Analyze warranty, service,



and field feedback data to identify reliability risks and improvement opportunities.

3. Testing & Validation

a. Define reliability test norms, test plans, and acceptance criteria considering customer usage and regulatory requirements.

b. Support and monitor life tests, endurance tests, accelerated tests, and validation testing of machines and components.

c. Correlate test results with field performance and ensure closure of reliability gaps.

4.Documentation & Reporting

a. Preparation of reliability validation plans, test reports, FMEA reports, failure analysis reports, and improvement plans.

b. Support engineering documentation such as test procedures, inspection guidelines, and reliability standards.

5. Value Addition in Existing Products

a. Identification and implementation of reliability, durability, and availability improvements in existing products.

b. Support material selection decisions from a reliability, durability, sustainability, and safety perspective.

6. Participation in Organizational Initiatives

a. Participation in Kaizens, continuous improvement initiatives, and crossfunctional teams.

b. Demonstrate healthy curiosity for current reliability methods, tools, and industry best practices.

c. Contribute to strengthening the organizations quality and reliability perception of its product portfolio.
