Role Overview:

As a Data Scientist, you will play a key role in developing and deploying machine learning models that drive AI-driven financial intelligence. You will work with alternative data sources, optimize AI models for real-world fintech applications, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. AI, ML & Data Science Development

- Develop and deploy AI/ML models that solve core fintech challenges, including fraud detection, credit underwriting, and transaction intelligence.
- Leverage alternative data sources such as telco data, geospatial data, and social data for predictive analytics.
- Optimize models for scalability, accuracy, and real-time decision-making in financial workflows.
- Ensure AI models adhere to fairness, bias-free, and explainability principles.

2. Data Engineering & Model Deployment

- Work with structured and unstructured financial data to extract meaningful insights.
- Deploy machine learning models into production environments, ensuring seamless integration with financial platforms.
- Collaborate with data engineers to build scalable AI pipelines.
- Continuously improve model performance using A/B testing and model monitoring techniques.

3. Explainable AI & Compliance

- Develop Explainable AI (XAI)



solutions to ensure transparency in AI-driven decision-making.
- Ensure AI models comply with fintech regulations and risk management guidelines set by RBI, NPCI, and other regulatory bodies.
- Work closely with compliance and legal teams to align AI solutions with industry best practices.

4. Collaboration & Leadership

- Collaborate with business, engineering, and product teams to align AI strategies with company goals.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, ML, and financial analytics to keep our solutions at the cutting edge.

Qualifications That We Look For

- 2+ years of experience in Data Science, AI, or ML, preferably in fintech, banking, or risk management.
- Expertise in machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and alternative data analytics.
- Solid proficiency in Python, SQL, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and ML frameworks.
- Experience in deploying AI models at scale in fintech or BFSI environments.
- Familiarity with Explainable AI (XAI) and regulatory challenges in financial services.
- Ability to translate complex data insights into actionable business strategies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
