Position Title: Manager R&D;

Work Location: Turbhe, Navi Mumbai

Position Summary:

A Manager of R&D; for SLPU (Solventless Polyurethane) Adhesives is a strategic leadership role focused on developing, testing, and commercializing advanced, eco-friendly adhesive technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Formulation & Innovation: Lead the synthesis, modification, and compounding of Silylated Polyurethane (SPUR) and Solventless Polyurethane (SLPU) adhesive systems.

Current Product Development (NPD): Drive end-to-end product life cycles from laboratory scale-up to pilot plant trials and full-scale commercial manufacturing.

Strategic Leadership: Translate business goals into technical objectives, mentor R&D; scientists, and allocate resources efficiently.

Technical Support:



Partner with sales and marketing teams to facilitate technology transfers and resolve complex, on-site technical customer applications.

Compliance & IP: Ensure regulatory compliance, manage intellectual property portfolios, and maintain strict quality control standards.

Experience & Qualification:

- Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Polymer Chemistry, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering.

- 10+ years of progressive R&D; experience in industrial adhesives, specifically within polyurethane/polyester chemistries and lamination applications.

- Expertise in analytical characterization (FTIR, DSC, UTM), cross-functional team leadership, and product scale-up.
