Turn your engineering degree into a consulting career on the shop floor, not behind a desk.
You won't be assigned to one plant and one machine. You'll walk client shop floors across automotive, electronics, industrial equipment and FMCG, find out why work doesn't flow, and help leadership fix it. You join as a Graduate Engineer Trainee, get groomed into a Junior Consultant, and grow from there.
What you'll do
Reporting to a Senior Associate Consultant, embedded on live transformation projects from day one:
- Time studies, method studies and line balancing on client shop floors
- Value Stream Mapping — finding the non-value-added work nobody has questioned
- Kaizen events, 5S deployments, SMED exercises, alongside operators and supervisors
- Analysing OEE, cycle time,
WIP and rejection data — turning numbers into an argument leadership acts on
- Root cause analysis, 7 QC Tools, A3 problem-solving
- Client-ready diagnostics, improvement roadmaps, management presentations — and presenting them yourself. In year one. We'll prepare you.
How we'll train you
Structured onboarding in Lean, Six Sigma and industrial engineering. You will shadow a Senior Associate Consultant before you lead your own workstream. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification support. Coaching on structured thinking and client communication. And exposure across more manufacturing systems in three years than most engineers see in ten.
