Role & responsibilities

- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN, WLAN).
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Manage switches, routers, firewalls, and access points to ensure reliable communication.
- Administer and maintain Windows/Linux servers, file servers, and backup systems.
- Ensure system and data integrity through regular maintenance, patching, and updates.
- Oversee IP address management, VLAN configurations, and routing protocols.
- Deploy and maintain cloud based applications on Servers
- Manage inter-site and cloud connectivity (e.g., MPLS, SD-WAN, VPN).
- Support integration between on-premises systems and cloud-based applications.
- Ensure seamless communication between networked systems and platforms.
- Monitor and optimize bandwidth utilization and network traffic flow.
- Implement and maintain firewall, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security systems.
- Perform periodic security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, standards, and best practices.
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Liaise with internet service providers, hardware suppliers,



and IT service vendors.
- Evaluate and manage vendor performance based on SLAs and KPIs.
- Negotiate service contracts and oversee procurement of network-related equipment and services.
- Coordinate with vendors for upgrades, repairs, and escalated troubleshooting.
- Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, assets, and procedures.
- Provide technical support to users and resolve escalated IT issues.
- Train junior IT staff or support teams as needed.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in network and systems administration.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, MCSA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent preferred.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, or other cloud environments.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., PRTG, SolarWinds, Nagios).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing vendors and service contracts.
