As part of our AI-first transformation, we are launching PropIntel, an AI-powered real estate document intelligence platform. In parallel, we are establishing a new Title Search Underwriting practice, building on our strong foundation in real estate data and document processing.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Title Searcher/Examiner to set up and lead this new practice. This is a foundational leadership role responsible for building delivery capabilities, defining processes, and training teams, and preparing the organization to serve title companies and underwriters in the future.

Key Responsibilities

- Establish and lead a new Title Search Underwriting practice within HiTech Digital.
- Define end-to-end process frameworks, SOPs, quality standards, and turnaround benchmarks.
- Build, train, and mentor a team of title searchers and examiners in India.
- Develop standardized approaches for current owner search, full search, chain of title, legal description, and vesting analysis.
- Act as the domain authority for complex files, edge cases, and underwriting-level decisions.
- Work closely with AI and Product teams to provide domain inputs for PropInteland identify automation-ready workflows.
- Support internal pilot engagements, POCs, and readiness for future title clients.




- Contribute to sales enablement by supporting solution design, process walkthroughs, and domain credibility.
- Ensure solid data security, confidentiality, and compliance readiness from day one.

Required Skills Experience

- 3-7 years of hands-on experience in US Title Search, Title Examination, or Title Underwriting.
- Strong working knowledge of county recorder records, deeds, mortgages, liens, judgments, and releases.
- Deep understanding of chain of title, legal descriptions, and vesting.
- Prior experience helping set up or scale title operations, teams, or delivery units.
- Ability to work independently and define structure in an early-stage practice.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex title concepts to non-domain teams.

Preferred Background

- Experience working directly with US title companies, underwriters, or lenders.
- Prior involvement in offshore transition or scaling of title services.
- Interest or experience in automation, process improvement, or AI-assisted workflows.
- Experience collaborating with technology, AI, or product engineering teams.
