Job Description

We are looking for a Workday Extend Developer with robust expertise in Workday Adaptive Planning to design, develop, and support enterprise-grade Workday applications and integrations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building Workday Extend applications, developing REST/SOAP APIs, and integrating Workday with enterprise systems.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing Workday solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and deploy custom applications using Workday Extend.
- Develop, consume, and maintain REST and SOAP Web Services for Workday integrations.
- Build scalable solutions using Workday Extend to meet business requirements.
- Develop and maintain Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday Web Services.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Functional Consultants, and Architects to understand business requirements.
- Create reusable APIs and integration components.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and participate in code reviews.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing Extend applications and integrations.
- Monitor application performance and recommend improvements.
- Maintain technical documentation,



API specifications, and deployment documentation.
- Follow Workday development standards and best practices.
- Support production issues and Workday releases.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 48 years of overall IT experience.
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on Workday Extend development.
- Minimum 2+ years of Workday Adaptive Planning experience.
- Strong experience developing and consuming REST/SOAP APIs.
- Experience with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday Web Services.
- Experience in Workday HCM or Financials integrations.
- Excellent understanding of Workday security and reporting.
- Experience with end-to-end implementation and production support.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Education
