Job Profile: MENDIX ENGINEER

DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE:
We are not looking for someone who simply develops Mendix applications.
We are looking for a Mendix Engineer who believes Artificial Intelligence is changing software engineering and wants to be part of that transformation.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Mendix application development while actively leveraging AI technologies to build next-generation enterprise solutions.
More importantly, we want someone who continuously learns new technologies, embraces challenges, and can quickly switch between platforms whenever business demands change.

Key Deliverables

Mendix Development

- Design scalable enterprise applications using Mendix.
- Build complex Domain Models.
- Develop reusable Microflows and Nanoflows.
- Design reusable Marketplace Components.
- Implement Security, Roles and Access Management.
- Optimize application performance.
- Build responsive web and mobile applications.
- Develop maintainable and reusable modules.

AI & Agentic Engineering

- Design and build enterprise applications powered by Artificial Intelligence.
- Develop Agentic AI solutions capable of autonomous reasoning, planning and task execution.
- Build conversational AI assistants inside enterprise applications.
- Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) into Mendix applications.
- Design AI-powered business workflows that reduce manual effort.
- Evaluate and rapidly adopt emerging AI technologies.

Qualifications & Work Experience
Mandatory Technical Skills
Mendix

- Minimum 3 5 years of hands-on Mendix development experience.
- Strong understanding of Domain Models.
- Expert in Microflows.
- Strong experience in Nanoflows.
- Java Actions.
- XPath.
- Security.
- Offline-first Applications.
- Scheduled Events.
- Task Queues.
- Widgets.
- Marketplace Modules.




- Performance Optimization.

Artificial Intelligence
Hands-on experience in:

- Generative AI
- Large Language Models (LLMs)
