Job Summary

The Coding Auditor / Coding Validation Specialist is responsible for reviewing and validating medical coding for accuracy, compliance, and adherence to regulatory and organizational standards. The role focuses on auditing surgical and procedural coding, identifying errors, educating coders, and improving overall coding quality and reimbursement integrity.

Key Responsibilities

- Currently seeking experienced E&M; coders who are CPT coding experts of E&M; cases performed ED Facility, IP EM.
- Exceeds the productivity standards as per productivity norms.
- Focuses on continuous improvement.
- Focuses on updating skills, knowledge and accuracy by participating in coding team meetings and educational conferences
- Knowledge of coding ED Facility, IP EM. Positive analytical skills. Sound anatomical knowledge.
- Should be certified from AAPC/AHIMA.



Certification must be active.

Qualifications for External Candidates

- Qualifications: Master's in biology/B.Pt/M.Pt, B,Pharm/M.Pharm/B.Sc Nursing/B.A.M.S / B.H.M.S
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience after certification. Payer side experience is added advantage.

Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Willing to extend based on requirement.

Telecommuter/Internet requirements, if applicable: Wi-Fi with excellent bandwidth, uninterrupted power (power back up)

Certifications (Preferred)

- CPC, CCS, or equivalent medical coding certification
- Additional auditing or compliance certification is an advantage
