Quantity Surveyor (QS)
We at Suroj Buildcon Pvt. Ltd. require a seasoned Quantity Surveyor (QS) who has experience into large & complex EPC projects:

- Should have experience of managing the financial and commercial part of construction bids
- Should have first-hand dealt in accurately estimating material and labor costs.
- Hands-on experience into preparing BOQs
- Should have astuteness into evaluating & comparing the subcontractors proposals which stand to be most feasible for the profit margin of the project/company
- To ensure the engineering designs align with the financials

Key Responsibilities:

- Tender Preparation: Analyze blueprints and project specifications to quantify materials, labor, and equipment required
- Cost Estimation:



Calculate the baseline costs and generate competitive pricing for bids
- Subcontractor Procurement: Solicit, analyze, and negotiate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers
- Risk Management: Identify commercial and contractual risks within tender documents before submission
- BOQ & Tender Packages: Compile the final tender documentation and ensure it complies with client requirements and regulatory standards

Core Requirements:

- Education: Bachelor's degree (B.E. / B.Tech.) in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management
- Experience: 0310 years of commercial, estimating, or tendering experience in the construction/EPC industry
- Software Skills: Proficiency in industry-standard softwares such as AutoCAD, MS Excel, and specialized takeoff/estimating tools (e.g., CostX or Planswift).
- Analytical Abilities: Strong mathematical aptitude, acute attention to detail, and in-depth knowledge of local construction market rates
