About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer with 8–12 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance backend applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, cloud technologies, and modern software development practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and deploy Microservices-based applications following industry best practices.
- Develop secure, reusable, and high-performance RESTful APIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Architects, QA, DevOps, and Frontend Developers.
- Participate in system architecture, design discussions, and code reviews.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Implement security, logging, monitoring, and exception-handling mechanisms.
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure high code quality.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical excellence within the team.
- Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Exposure to Event-Driven Architecture.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) is a plus.
