Component selection and vendor interaction
Documentation of various calculations; sketching of ideas
Hands-on participation during Prototype development & Testing
Technical Support to Servicing
Effective interaction with other departments and decision making
Customer interaction and customer & market driven product development
Cost reduction projects
Technical support marketing dept.

Soft Skill Requirements

Basic knowledge of Engg. Subjects: Strength of materials, Material Science, Production Technology, Machine design;
Strong knowledge of engineering mechanics, strength of materials, machine design and engineering concepts, pneumatics, hydraulics, thermodynamics, Fluid machinery and its applications. Basics of Ansys;
Must have exposure & experience in developing a new product from design to manufacturing, assembly and testing;
Team player must have good Inter-personal skills; Good communication skills
Requires good skills in change management, problem solving, communication skills, customer orientation, product technology, personal effectiveness, project management, team skills and quality.
