About the role We are looking for an SDV Architect with robust hands-on expertise in at least one core area of the SDV stack, along with a good system-level understanding of vehicle software architecture.You will contribute to designing scalable, service-oriented vehicle platforms and work closely with platform, middleware, and integration teams.
What you will do
- Contribute to end-to-end SDV architecture across compute, network, OS, and middleware
- Own and drive design decisions within your area of specialization
- Break down system designs into components, interfaces, and APIs
- Contribute to service-oriented architecture and vehicle data layer design
- Work on virtualization or container-based platforms as relevant
- Support integration and validation activities (SIL / HIL / CI/CD)
- Follow defined architecture governance and design practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, BSP, middleware, applications)
- Participate in design reviews and technical discussions
What we are looking for
- Strong hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas:
- Embedded platform development (Linux/Yocto, BSP, RTOS, bring-up)
- Middleware / service-oriented architecture (SOME/IP, DDS, APIs, data layer)
Good understanding of:
- SDV concepts (HPC, zonal architectures, software-defined systems)
- Networking (CAN, Ethernet, SOME/IP, DoIP)
- Embedded Linux (Yocto) including BSP, system bring-up, and middleware integration
- C++ coding and understanding of advanced C++ concepts
- Containerization (Docker or similar)
- CI/CD and DevOps concepts
- Exposure to AUTOSAR Adaptive
- Architecture tools (Enterprise Architect, Rhapsody)
Good to have
- Experience with virtualization (Xen, QNX, L4Re)
- Exposure to middleware stacks (Vector, EB CORBOS)
- Prior OEM / Tier-1 project experience
