About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer with a strong background in transforming raw data into interactive, actionable dashboards. If you have deep expertise in migrating legacy BI reports to Power BI and enjoy working directly with customers and business users to drive data-centric solutions, this opportunity is for you.

What You'll Do

Report Migration & Analysis: Analyze existing BI reports and dashboards, specifically understanding legacy Ace BI reports and their underlying business logic.

Design & Development: Design equivalent or improved Microsoft Power BI dashboards and publish/maintain Power BI workspaces

. Integration: Connect Power BI to various application databases, ERP/reporting systems, and REST APIs.

Collaboration: Work directly with customer SMEs and ABS to gather requirements and validate data accuracy with business users.

Optimization: Optimize report performance and ensure productive database design and query execution.

Documentation & Training: Thoroughly document datasets, calculations, and report logic, and train end users when required to ensure smooth adoption.

What We're Looking For

Experience: 48 years of extensive experience in BI report and dashboard development.

Core Skills: Strong expertise in Microsoft Power BI (Desktop & Service), DAX, Power Query (M), SQL Server / T-SQL, Database design, query optimization,



Data modeling (Star Schema), and ETL concepts.

Migration Expertise: Must have proven experience migrating reports from legacy BI tools (SSRS, Crystal Reports, Tableau, Qlik, Cognos, Ace BI, etc.) to Microsoft Power BI.

Database & API Proficiency: Experience reading existing application databases, particularly PostgreSQL or MySQL (as used in many AWS Lightsail applications), along with REST APIs, JSON, and Excel.

Cloud & Version Control: Familiarity with AWS basics (Lightsail, RDS, EC2) and Git.

Communication & Shift Flexibility: Excellent communication skills with the ability to confidently engage directly with business users and customers. Must be flexible with shift timings to support global clients.

Additional Experience: ERP integration and report migration project experience.
