Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Tester with 6+ years of experience in test automation using Selenium and Playwright. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks for web applications, along with hands-on experience in API testing, CI/CD integration, and Agile development practices. The candidate should be passionate about delivering high-quality software through robust automation and continuous testing.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and Playwright.
- Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end testing.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
- Execute API testing using tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
- Analyze test execution results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for timely resolution.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Maintain automation reports,

- Continuously improve automation frameworks, test coverage, and testing processes.

Required Skills

- 6+ years of experience in Software Testing and QA Automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright automation.
- Proficiency in Java or C# (Java preferred).
- Experience with automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, NUnit, or similar.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Experience with API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of SQL for database validation and testing.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as Jira.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter is an added advantage.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Experience with Docker or Kubernetes is a plus.
- Familiarity with test reporting tools such as Extent Reports or Allure.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
