- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure uninterrupted supply of materials at the optimum cost.
- Source, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers for raw materials,
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, contracts, and commercial conditions to achieve cost savings.
- Prepare and process, Purchase Orders (PO), and work orders.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials as per production plans and inventory requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance based on quality, cost, delivery, and service, and take corrective actions where required.
- Coordinate with Production, Planning, Stores, Quality, Maintenance, Finance, and Accounts for procurement planning and material availability.
- Track purchase orders, expedite deliveries, and resolve supply chain issues to prevent production disruptions.
- Maintain optimum inventory levels while minimizing excess and obsolete stock.




- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, statutory regulations, and quality standards.
- Review and approve vendor quotations, comparative statements, and supplier recommendations.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and vendor documentation.
- Prepare procurement MIS reports, vendor performance reports, and cost-saving reports for management review.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the purchase team to improve productivity and performance.
- Collaborate with logistics and transport partners to ensure timely material movement.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes through ERP/SAP and digital procurement practices.
