Role & responsibilities
- Execute test cases for OTT applications across Web, Android, iOS, Android TV, Fire TV, Smart TV, and Set-Top Box (STB) platforms.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.
- Validate key OTT features including Live TV, Video-on-Demand (VOD), Catch-up TV, Search, User Profiles, Subscription, and Parental Controls.
- Verify video playback functionality, including play, pause, resume, seek, rapid-forward, rewind, and subtitle/audio track selection.
- Validate user authentication, account management, and content accessibility workflows.
- Identify, reproduce, document, and track defects using Jira or similar defect management tools.
- Work closely with developers to provide detailed issue information and assist in troubleshooting.
- Perform defect retesting and regression validation after fixes.
