- Take complete ownership of overall plant production activities.
- Lead, guide and manage a team of approximately 15 Supervisors and 150 Workmen.
- Ensure achievement of daily production targets while maintaining quality and delivery commitments.
- Monitor, analyze and improve manufacturing process controls, OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and productivity.
- Record, monitor, review and analyze daily production performance and prepare management reports.
- Conduct on-the-job training and skill development for supervisors and shop-floor employees.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manpower productivity, energy efficiency, quality and safety.
- Ensure timely dispatch of finished goods as per customer schedules.
- Implement and sustain 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement activities within the production area.
- Maintain strict departmental discipline and adherence to company policies.
- Coordinate effectively with Quality, Maintenance, Planning and Stores departments to ensure smooth production operations.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental and statutory requirements.
