Position Overview and Objective

Data is a critical part of Arctic Wolf Network's mission to solve cyber risk, where we process and analyze trillions of events every week to look for malicious and risky behavior. These set of Data Pipelines form the critical backend of all our products and services. The Data Engineering team works on ingesting massive amounts of security data and logs, refining and enriching the data as it flows through the pipeline and service them at a high performance for all the products and stakeholders.

As a Data Engineer on this team you will be responsible to create data pipelines for our suite of cybersecurity products and services. They will partner with Product Managers, Security Researchers, ML teams and various other teams that are engaged in the data world in AWN. You will work with SQL, Spark, Databricks, Athena,



Iceberg/Trino to write and optimize ETL/ELT jobs to ingest raw data from a variety of sources, refine that data, and optimize/tune those datasets into production. You should be comfortable with relational- and non-relational databases like SQL and PostgreSQL, big data systems such as Spark, and cloud-deployments of software and ETL jobs in AWS.

Responsibilities

- Contribute to development of QA lifecycle for Data Platform systems.
- Implement and maintain test automation frameworks.
- Establish and coordinate testing strategies across the team.
- Design, develop, and execute automation systems (in Python) for Integrations.
- Ensure continuous integration flows are effective and maintained.
- Collaborate with rest of the team to integrate QA processes into the Agile development lifecycle.
- Stay updated with new testing tools and test strategies in use throughout Arctic Wolf and externally.
- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases as per requirements of various Integrations.

Experience and Requirements:

We're looking for someone with experience in:

- Demonstrable working knowledge of industry standard QA test frameworks, methods, and systems.
- Experience with QA methodologies, processes, and best practices.
- 3+ years of experience in software QA. Experience of cybersecurity will be a plus.




- Proven experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) and configuration management systems (e.g., Git).
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Experience with automation frameworks, XRAY test management.
- Excellent written communication skills with a love of authoring effective Quality template and Quality Plans.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
