Roles and Responsibilities: nnLead multi-workstream client engagements end-to-end, setting approach and managing risk nnand escalations, integrating outputs across teams, managing expectations and mentoring junior nntalent to uplift execution quality nn* Meet quantitative expectations of charge time and utilization (1,495 hours for a total of 65% nnof time worked) nn* Develop client relationships and serve as primary contact for assigned client engagements nnincluding for scoping, planning and timelines. Maintain regular communication with the nnonshore team, client and relationship executive for streamlined client experience nn* Optimize staffing and capacity and remove blockers. Effectively plan, allocate tasks and nnmanage work teams on engagements to meet client deliverable timeframes with delivery nnof high-quality work product nn* Review a sample of commercial loans of financial institutions to ensure that acceptable nncredit standards are maintained and that loans conform to established company policy nnand any applicable regulatory requirements. nn* Analysis of the credit risks within individual commercial loans and commercial mortgages nnand opine on the appropriateness of risk grades for the loans reviewed. nn* Review documentation relating to origination and renewals, collateral, insurance, flood nncertification(s) etc. Document compliance with loan policies, lending procedures and nnapplicable regulations with the application. nn* Document observations, deviations that need to be discussed with the client. nn* Conduct activities consistent with established banking policies, procedures and systems,
nnBank Secrecy Act and all applicable State and Federal laws and regulations in the United nnStates of America. nn* Manage performance, staffing, and development plans; build a diverse, high-trust team nnculture. Provide guidance, coaching and actionable feedback to seniors/assistant managers. nn* Monitor budget vs. actuals for the workstream; recommend corrective actions early nn* Effectively lead calls with the onshore (US) team to discuss team progress, quality and nnproductivity. nn* Demonstrate leadership in firm initiatives; foster cross-practice collaboration nn* Manage the team in providing other risk advisory services to financial services and other nnindustry clients as required. nnEssential Qualifications and Experience nn* Masters or bachelors degree in accounting or finance (M. Com/B. Com/MBA). Major in nnBanking would be a plus. nn* 15-20 years of experience in the banking industry with a focus in lending, credit analysis and nnloan review. nn* Knowledge and experience in US banking industry with good knowledge of applicable rules nnand regulations is strongly preferred. nn* Positive knowledge and understanding of business banking and commercial loan products nnand lending credit policies/guidelines. nn* Good knowledge of commercial lending,
agricultural lending, real estate development, Coand nnconstruction lending, and the required collateral documents for each type. nn* Experience in regulatory compliance for US based financial institutions is preferred. nn* Experience managing multiple projects from start to end, including involvement in scoping nnand ownership of planning, execution, reporting and delivery. nn* Strong experience in performance management and people development, stakeholder nnmanagement, escalation management, and ability to communicate effectively with other nnleaders, both internally and externally. nn* Prior experience of working with overseas teams is essential. nnSkills u0026 Abilities: nn* Good spoken and written English nn* Strong analytical skills and critical thinking ability nn* Self-motivated and detail-oriented nn* Robust desire and capacity to learn nn* Strong leadership skills with self-accountability nn* Ability to develop people and client relationships nn* Ability to plan and prioritize multiple projects, follow through on requests, take initiative, nnwork under pressure and meet deadlines. nn* Able to generate quality work products in a timely manner with strong attention to detail. nn* Able to communicate well with team members and leaders across US and India. nn* Ability to grasp new things quickly and apply learnings nn* Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills nn* Good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word, and Adobe. nn* Prior experience with CaseWare or DiCom CQS is a plus. .
