Job Title: Purchase Engineer

Location: On-site, Doddabalapur.

Experience Required: 3–6 years

Job Description:

We are looking for a Purchase Engineers preferably in an EMS company. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day purchase activities, processing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely availability of materials to support production requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

· Handle day-to-day purchase activities for electronic & electrical components, mechanical parts, consumables, and other materials.

· Create and release Purchase Orders (POs) based on approved material requirements.

· Follow up with suppliers for PO confirmation, material availability, delivery schedules.

· Monitor open POs and ensure timely delivery of materials as per production requirements.

· Coordinate with suppliers regarding delayed deliveries, shortages, and pending materials.

· Coordinate with Planning, Stores, Production, Engineering, Quality, and Finance teams for material requirements and delivery status.

· Monitor critical and shortage materials and take necessary follow-up actions to avoid production stoppages.

· Track supplier delivery performance and maintain purchase-related records and reports.

· Ensure proper documentation and timely closure of purchase orders.





· Support inventory and material availability requirements by ensuring timely procurement and delivery.

· Handle supplier issues and escalate critical matters to the concerned management.

Qualification

· BE Electronics.

Required Skills

· Experience: 3–6 years of experience in purchase engineering.

· Industry Background: Prior experience in the EMS sector is preferred.

· Knowledge of Electronic components and BOM-based procurement.

· Good negotiation and supplier management skills.

· Valuable knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems.

· Good communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
