Role Description This is a full-time, on-site State Manager (Sales & Collection) role based in Bhubaneswar. The State Manager will oversee sales and collection operations for vehicle finance across the assigned state, ensuring achievement of business targets and portfolio quality. Responsibilities include developing and executing sales strategies, managing dealer and partner relationships, and driving the acquisition of current vehicle finance customers. The role requires monitoring collections, minimizing delinquencies, managing recovery processes, and ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory guidelines.



The State Manager will lead and mentor a field team, review performance metrics, prepare regular reports, and coordinate closely with senior management to support sustainable business growth.

Qualifications

- Strong experience in vehicle finance sales and collection operations, with proven ability to manage state-level portfolios.
- Demonstrated skills in team leadership, performance management, and stakeholder relationship building (dealers, DSA partners, and customers).
- Sound understanding of NBFC regulations, credit assessment, risk management, and compliance processes in asset finance.
- Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and use of MS Office or similar tools to track sales, collections, and performance indicators.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle field escalations and complex customer situations.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Prior experience in a managerial role in vehicle finance is compulsory; experience at state or regional level will be highly preferred.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the state for branch visits, dealer meetings, and field supervision.
