Role Description The Lab Trainer – Computer Science will be responsible for conducting hands-on laboratory sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students in computer science and related fields. This full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad involves guiding students through programming exercises, practical system implementations, and software tools, ensuring they understand core concepts and industry-relevant applications. The Lab Trainer will prepare lab materials, set up and maintain lab infrastructure, assess student performance in practical sessions, and provide constructive feedback to support learning outcomes.



The role also includes collaborating with faculty to align lab content with the curriculum, supporting project work, and promoting best practices in coding, documentation, and problem-solving. The Lab Trainer is expected to contribute to a supportive, inclusive learning setting and uphold Amity University's academic and professional standards.
Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Computer Science and Informatics, with the ability to explain concepts clearly in a lab setting.
- Proficiency in Programming and practical application of software development principles.
- Knowledge of Information Technology systems, tools, and basic infrastructure relevant to academic computer labs.
- Demonstrated Teaching skills, including mentoring, classroom management, and facilitating hands-on learning.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Experience in academic labs or industry projects involving software development, systems administration, or applied computing.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and commitment to academic integrity.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students.
- Familiarity with modern development environments, version control, and commonly used programming languages (such as Java, Python, C/C++, or similar) is highly beneficial.
