Finance Manager

About Company
A global Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) organisation is expanding its international finance shared-services operations to support global entities across accounting, financial reporting, compliance, and controllership. The finance team partners closely with international stakeholders to deliver accurate financial reporting, process excellence, and continuous operational improvement across multiple countries.
Job Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end accounting for international entities, ensuring accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close, reconciliations, reporting, compliance, audit readiness, and financial statement preparation.
- Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals by driving performance, workload planning, service quality, process ownership, and continuous capability development.
- Oversee general ledger activities, intercompany accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, provisions, accruals, prepayments, VAT, reconciliations, and statutory reporting.
- Drive finance transformation initiatives including process migration, standardisation, centralisation, automation, controls enhancement, and continuous process improvement across shared-services operations.
- Partner closely with global finance leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to improve reporting quality, resolve accounting issues, strengthen internal controls, and deliver operational excellence.
- Support internal and external audits while ensuring compliance with international accounting standards, company policies,
statutory requirements, and governance frameworks.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Qualified Chartered Accountant with 5+ years of post-qualification experience in Accounting, Financial Reporting, Shared Services, Controllership, or Finance Operations.
- Proven experience leading accounting teams within multinational organisations, shared-services centres, global capability centres, or international finance environments.
- Solid knowledge of IFRS or international accounting standards, financial reporting, general ledger management, intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and period-end close processes.
- Experience driving finance process improvements, migrations, transitions, standardisation, automation, or transformation initiatives is highly desirable.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with experience using ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Business Central, Tagetik, or similar enterprise finance systems.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, leadership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
