Role Description

We're hiring a Backend Developer to build and maintain the core logic of our ERP/CRM platform in PHP, and to own the integrations layer — payment gateways, WhatsApp, email, Aadhaar/eKYC, digital signatures, and AI-powered features. This isn't repetitive CRUD work — every client is different, and a valuable chunk of the job is wiring up real-world APIs correctly and reliably.

What You'll Do

- Build and maintain backend logic and APIs in PHP
- Design and optimize MySQL schemas and queries across multiple client projects
- Use Redis for caching, queues, and session management
- Integrate and maintain WhatsApp Business API workflows — notifications, automation, two-way messaging
- Integrate transactional email and automation triggers
- Integrate payment gateways end-to-end — webhooks, reconciliation, refunds, failure handling
- Integrate Aadhaar/eKYC validation APIs
- Integrate digital document signature (e-sign) APIs
- Build AI-powered features into the product — calling LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar) for automation, document processing, or assistive workflows
- Work with the frontend team and client-facing team to ship complete features, not just backend pieces

You're the Right Fit If...

- You have strong, hands-on PHP experience — you understand the language,



not just a framework
- You can design a MySQL schema that holds up as data and usage grow
- You've used Redis for more than basic caching — queues, rate limiting, sessions
- You've integrated at least one payment gateway end-to-end, not just followed a tutorial
- You've worked with Aadhaar/eKYC or e-sign APIs — or you're confident reading unfamiliar government/compliance API docs and getting it right
- You've built something real using an AI API — a chatbot, document automation, an assistive feature, anything shipped
- You can work across multiple live client projects without losing track of what's where

Backgrounds that fit well:

- Backend developer at a software services or product company
- Full-stack developer who has owned backend/integration work
- Developer with fintech or govtech exposure — payment gateways, KYC, and e-sign are common there

Requirements added by the job poster

• 2+ years hands-on PHP development experience

• Working experience with MySQL and Redis

• Hands-on integration experience with at least one payment gateway

• Experience integrating WhatsApp and/or email automation APIs

• Experience with Aadhaar validation or digital signature/e-sign APIs is a strong plus

• Experience building with AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar)
