Equity Research (Sell-Side Research & Operations), Metal & Mining Sector, Sr Associate/ Delivery Lead

Job location - Bangalore & Gurgaon

Experience - 4+ years

Key Responsibilities:

- Support Equity Analyst of a bulge bracket sell side investment banking firm.
- Building financial models from scratch with detailed drivers, projections and valuation
- Working on Earnings update, Earnings preview, Comps, Databases and client queries
- Writing short to long research reports
- Actively participate in team discussions and provide insights
- Write and contribute to various periodical reports distributed to internal and external clients
- Work on adhoc projects and other duties as assigned
- Maintain coverage of stocks in the sector

Required Background:





- An MBA/CA/CFA with 4 to 10 years of relevant experience
- Experience is must in Metals & Mining sector.
- Passion for equity markets and relevant background in equity research
- Robust analytical, writing and communication skills
- Ability to work creatively and efficiently with large datasets
- Working knowledge of databases like Thomson Reuters, Datastream and Bloomberg
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
- Flexibility in in work timings depending on client requirements
